3-DAY ITINERARY IN TASHKENT
DAY-1
Go to a neighboring restaurant and have lunch with some Uzbek food after checking in. My accommodations at the Moon Hotel-Al Arda were ideal—they were nearer to all the other tourist attractions. The neighborhood was rather pleasant. The Mar Mar Restaurant, which is five minutes’ walk from the hotel, is where I had lunch. Their kebabs and plov were quite tasty.
Head towards the State Museum of the Temurids also known as Amir Temur Museum. After I took a picture with the statue of Amir Timur (Tamerlane) in the middle of the square, I explored the Amir Timur Museum. The museum’s exhibits, in particular, center on Amir Temur’s ancestry, ascent to power, Sahib Kiran’s military campaigns, trade and diplomatic ties, craftsmanship, landscaping and city improvement, and the advancement of science and education. Time-2hrs
See the impressive Amir Temur Museum first, then proceed to Magic City Park, which is most beautiful at sunset. The Amir Temur Museum is within an 8-minute taxi ride away from the park. At night, The Parks come to life akin to a castle from a fairy tale. We visited lovely illuminated light shops that resembled Disneyland, complete with a castle and fountain. Here, we went shopping and had dinner.
Magic City is a pleasant strolling destination. The fountain display and lights are free to view, but there are plenty of other activities to do, like visiting Magic Aqua, Upside Down World, Bizarre Museum, Children’s Indoor Park, Carnival, and many more. There are also plenty of places to grab food and snacks. It is also a great place to hang out with your friends. I would recommend parents to take their kids to get around the park. Your kids might be excited from the evening theater show for children in the open air.
A little Registan known as Kopiya Ploshchadi Registan is located directly next to Magic City Park. Once you’ve finished in Magic City, you can go there. It can get a little boring to spend the entire day seeing minars and museums. For this reason, I made the decision to incorporate pleasant activities, museums, and sightseeing into my daily itinerary. Time-3hr-4hr
DAY-2
After having breakfast at the hotel, head towards the Hazrat Imam Complex. As the city’s official religious center, this is undoubtedly one of the most popular tourist destinations in Tashkent. The major reason for me to visit Tashkent is the Hazrat Imam Complex, which is made up of mosques with turquoise domes that are similar to those in Samarkand. It is here that you will realize why this Central Asian metropolis was once so significant. Time-2hrs
It’s lunchtime, and we explore the Tashkent Metro system by visiting as many stations as we can afterward. If you’re not sure where to dine, you may also search here for the top Tashkent restaurants to visit. Nearly all of the Tashkent Metro’s stations are breathtaking and distinctive from one another. I spent hours simply riding the metro up and down and making stops at all of its stunning stations. I roamed around the city in the Metro at unbelievably low prices. Definitely a must visit places in Tashkent. We looked about at street shops, street food, and fruit stands whenever we could find them in between rides. Every metro station has an abundance of them, so you won’t need to search for them
DAY-3
Kukeldash Madrasah is a medieval madrasa in Tashkent, located close to Chorsu Bazaar and Chorsu Metro station. Inside, you will find a colorful courtyard. Built as an old Islamic school in the 16th century. We roamed around the garden, learned its history and legends and admired the traditional-style architecture. There is also a small coffee room inside with self service and self payment. You have coffee and just leave the money in the box. Interesting huh?
Time-1hr
The renowned Chorsu Bazar is only a short stroll away. Saving money by buying on the last day of your trip is usually beneficial. I personally always make sure to shop on my last day and it always works out perfectly. It’s also a perfect spot to see the unique blend of cultures that makes Tashkent famous. I had a wonderful time there. Chorsu is sprawled across several tiers and tents where friendly vendors stand ready to sell you everything that you need and more. You will find spices, fruits, vegetables, nuts, tea, chocolate, toys, dresses, salads, cookies, fries, bread and what else not. SHOP EAT SHOP REPEAT. Time-4-5hrs
