Amir Soy Ski Resort

Amirsoy Mountain Resort is the largest ski resort in Uzbekistan, and the most modern ski resort in Central Asia. It opened in 2019 in the Western Tian Shan, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Because of its close proximity to Tashkent and the Islam Karimov International Airport, Amirsoy (Amirsay) is very appealing.

Charvak Reservoir

Charvak is a sizable artificial lake and reservoir that is encircled by verdant mountain slopes covered in snow.The Charvak HPS dam created the lake.The Ugam, Chatkal, and Pskem mountain rivers supply water to the lake. Today, Tashkent's residents and visitors like to spend their summer vacations at Charvak Lake.The lake is now a resort, resembling a blue diamond encircled by a series of mountain peaks.

Zangiata Mausoleum

At 15 km from Tashkent, in the village of Zangiata, there is a famous mausoleum Zangiata, where Muslim Sheikh Ai-Khodja and his wife were buried. Mausoleum is one of the most visited holy places in Tashkent. It is generally accepted tradition of Tashkent families to take charitable gift to Zangi-ata each twelve year cycle («muchal yili») according to the eastern calendar, that is, when someone in the family turns 12, 24, 36 or more visits Zangi-ata with charitable gift.

Tashkent TV Tower

The tallest building in Central Asia is the TV Tower. It stands 375 meters tall altogether. 1981 marked the completion of its construction, which started in 1979. Its structure includes earthquake resistance up to Richter magnitude 9. The tower, which is 220 meters high, is used to arrange the most advanced forms of communication, including paging, satellite TV, and cellular phones. There is an observation deck with three elevators that allows you to take in breathtaking views of the city.
