Must Try Restaurants in Tashkent

1) MAR MAR RESTAURANT

While exploring the neighborhood, I came upon this excellent eatery, which is only eight minutes’ walk from my hotel, Moon. I ultimately chose to stay here after trying four different restaurants. Despite having a two-week stay, I was unable to sample every meal due to the extensive variety. The cost was less than others, and everything I tasted was great. There are a few halls, elegant and non fancy. The menu has pictures of every item, so communication is not an issue, even though the servers’ English and Russian are not very good. I found the plov to be very tasty and their service was quite fast. The inside seating is much more comfortable and colder during summer times.

2) Afsona Restaurant-The location, Afsona, is set out like a contemporary Uzbek restaurant. It is evident in the restaurant’s contemporary layout and interior national décor. Taste national cuisine that is focused on a healthy lifestyle at the Afsona restaurant in Tashkent. Based on recommendations from TripAdvisor, we selected this location and I must say it did not disappoint. Although there isn’t a breathtaking view because the restaurant is off the street, it is still quite cozy. The interior seems good. The cuisine was fantastic. We had a fantastic time at Afsona. The food is traditional Uzbek and absolutely delicious. There is also English on the menu. The Crisp Bread is a must try.

3) Belle Maman- This restaurant is located right at the center of Tashkent City. The restaurant is very dramatic and you will understand why I say so. In the basement there is a cool karaoke bar which starts to operate from 6pm. Overall it is a great spot to dance, drink, and listen to music. Live performances of 90s and contemporary Russian music. The foods we ordered were mouth watering. This can definitely be a stop on your visit.

4) BeshQozon-  A must-see location to visit in Tashkent. You can watch how they prepare Uzbekian food which is quite interesting.  Fast service and delicious food are provided with fair prices. The selection of freshly made Plov that you may purchase here astonished me. We carried our food to the main eating area after placing our orders directly from the Plov vendors. From the eating area, you can have tea, bread, and salad. Many residents and visitors are present to sample the national meal. The fresh bread is a nice complement to the tasty plov. This is a great place for foodies.

5) Gruzinskiy Dvorik-   Prominent artists Niko Pirosmanishvile and Lado Gudiashvili’s reproductions adorn the restaurant’s décor. The food at this restaurant is the most significant aspect. You may sample the most well-liked Georgian foods during a visit to the restaurant Gruzinsky Dvorik, which will make for an exciting delicatessen journey. Great cuisine, excellent service, and a substantial, robust house red wine were all present. Overall, the taste was distinct from other Uzbek cuisine, and I would highly recommend it. Although I’m not sure if the meal was overpriced, it seemed consistent and of the highest quality.

These are my five favorites. There exist other eateries in Tashkent that are undoubtedly equally good. Please share your favorite further in a comment.
