How to apply for an Uzbekistan visa?

To apply for an Uzbekistan eVisa you need to follow the following steps:

  • Visit the official  E-VISA.GOV.UZ
  • Fill out the visa application form accurately with the required information.
  • Pay the fee as per the instructions provided, ensuring you obtain a receipt as proof of payment. Submit your application.
  • For consideration of the application for an e-visa, a consular fee of $ 20 ($ 21.5 including taxes)  is collected via integrated into the portal international payment systems.
  • The standard processing time for Uzbekistan e-Visa may take up to 2 to 3 working days from the date of visa application submission. If you fill out the online application correctly your visa is likely going to be accepted. 
  • The e-visa works at all entry points: land borders and airports. No sticker is placed in your passport, only an entry/exit stamp.

Documents for tourist visa

  • Your passport should have a minimum validity of six months beyond your intended departure date from Uzbekistan.
  • It should also have at least two blank pages for visa stamps.
  • Completed visa application form.
What is the validity of an Uzbekistan tourist visa?

Tourist visas are usually valid for a specific period, typically up to 90 days, and a tourist can stay in the country for a period of 30 days.

Who Can Travel To Uzbekistan On Visa Arrival?

In 2019, requirements for traveling to Uzbekistan were eased, when they finally offered a 30-day free visa on arrival for most nationalities. This VOA is valid in both airports and land borders and it applies to all Western nationalities, EXCEPT for the USA. Here you can see the updated list.

Visa for Children (under 16)

Children under 16 years old don’t need a visa to travel to Uzbekistan. They should be registered in the visa application of their parents.
